About New Albion
The Lodge meets at the Logenhaus, Eißendorfer Straße 27, 21073 Hamburg. We meet in the Lodge four times a year, hold a summer event and arrange a varying number of guest events.
Our history
New Albion was the first Lodge formed out of the Association of British Freemasons in Germany (1945–1958).
On 30 March 1957, it was consecrated in Düsseldorf as New Absalom Lodge No. 841, the name it retained from 1957 to 2020.
On 6 March 2010, the Lodge moved to Marienfeld.
On 28 September 2020, it moved to Hamburg.
Welcome from the Worshipful Master
Welcome to New Albion Lodge No. 841. Our Lodge is a place where people from different backgrounds meet in friendship, reflect on shared values, and support one another and the wider community. Whether you are curious about Freemasonry or a brother visiting Hamburg, I hope this website helps you understand who we are.
The best way to learn about a Lodge is through conversation, and we would be pleased to hear from you.
— Gino Barnard, Worshipful Master
